This blog is aimed at, but by no means limited to, those working in the equine world. I am hoping to develop and provide best practice in the athletic development and coaching to all. Pseudoscience is abundant in the fitness world and I hope this blog can provide a safe haven, where what I say and do is underpinned by current research and critical thinking. But nobody is perfect and the world of equestrian and fitness is ever developing and conflicting.

My two objectives

  • Produce effective athletes that can complement the horse.
  • A reduction in non-contact (chronic) injuries that ensure rider health is paramount.
