Welcome to Hadlow Rider Fitness!

This blog is aimed at, but by no means limited to, those working in the equine world. I am hoping to develop and provide best practice in the athletic development and coaching to all. Pseudoscience is abundant in the fitness world and I hope this blog can provide a safe haven, where what I say and do is underpinned by current research and critical thinking. But nobody is perfect and the world of equestrian and fitness is ever developing and conflicting.

My two objectives

  • Produce effective athletes that can complement the horse.
  • A reduction in non-contact (chronic) injuries that ensure rider health is paramount.

That’s all for now and keep your eyes peeled for new content and please feel free to question, request and share. This blog is as much for me as it is for you!
